A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm, and it's then processed through a centrifuge to separate the PRP, which is rich in growth factors. Simultaneously, your practitioner will use a microneedling device to create tiny micro-injuries in the skin. This process stimulates the body’s natural healing response and allows for better absorption of PRP when applied.

What is the process of microneedling with PRP? 

    • Results can be seen 1-2 weeks after treatment. They will continue to build in next few months. 

    • You will notice subtle results are 1 treatment. For best results, a recommended series of 3 spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Then, you can maintain results by doing a session quarterly. 

    • You will experience a sunburn feeling day one, then mild redness with flaking next several days.

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, high sugar, high salt 24-48 hours prior to decrease chances bruising

    • Start arnica 2 days prior to avoid bruising

    • Redness and swelling will subside after a few hours

    • Wash face with gentle cleanser, apply hydrating serum, moisturizer, and SPF. You can resume actives (retinol, vitamin c serum, etc.) after 3 days. 

    • For soreness, use OTC Tylenol recommended over Advil 

    • Wait 2 weeks before any skin treatments (laser, microneedling, facial, etc)

    • It can take up to 6 weeks for results to be seen. If desired results not seen, you may need more session(s).
