Neurotoxins are used to reduce wrinkles caused by muscle movements. Common treated areas are the forehead, number “11”, crows feet, bunny lines, frown line, lip flip, chin, and neck.

    • Medically, it helps with migraine/chronic headaches, TMJ, Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)

    • Results can take effect as soon as 2-3 days. Allow up to 2 weeks for full effect.

  • Common risks are temporary bruising and some may experience headaches (will go away). Rare, but serious risks are allergic reactions, difficulty swallowing/breathing, and ptsosis (drooping eyebrows).

    • Schedule 2 weeks in advance if you have a big event to prevent any complication such as bruising. 

    • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, high sugar, high salt 24-48 hours prior to decrease chances bruising

    • Start arnica 2 days prior to avoid bruising

    • Avoid strenuous exercise, sauna, steam room in the next 6 hours

    • Do not lay or rub on treated area in the next 6 hours

    • For soreness, use OTC Tylenol recommended over Advil 

    • Wait 2 weeks before any skin treatments (laser, microneedling, facial, etc)
